Speaking at the exhibition, deputy director of the Vietnam Environmental Administration Mai Thanh Dzung said that the exhibition, which was part of the 4th National Environmental Conference, offered a chance to State managerial agencies, organisations and companies to exchange experiences related to environmental protection.
At the exhibition, the administration also named achievements in environmental protection gained over the past five years, including a set of policies that was promptly issued to protect the national environment and biodiversity, he said.
Nguyen Thi Kim Yen, from the Da Nang City-based Vietnam Environment Joint Stock Company, said that it was an opportunity for the company to present its technologies to treat solid household waste without burying it.
The National Environmental Conference is organised every five years. The 4th National Environment Conference's plenary session is scheduled to be open tomorrow with attendance of about 800 participants
