VACNE ACTIVITIES

In the near future, several cooperative activities between VACNE and HEF will be deployed.

)VACNE) - Yesterday, in Hanoi, the leaders of the Vietnam Association For Conservation Of Nature and Environment (VACNE) and the Human Environment Forum (HEF), Korea held a meeting and agreed on a cooperating action program in the near future.



Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Sinh, VACNE President : Dr. Shim Jae-Kon, and the HEF President, chaired the meeting together, discussing the objectives of cooperation between the two parties during the period of now, until 2020. This included the Communications Program vote and recognition of products and technologies for the environment of Vietnam - Korea;  the signing ceremony of cooperation between the units of the two parties was also witnessed. 


The meeting was also a traditional one of two social organisations, sharing information, transferring their technology cooperation and gradually expanding the investment cooperation in the field of the environmental treatment of Vietnam - Korea.  The meeting therefore attracted scientists and representatives of related businesses of the two parties.


Based on the contents of the Draft Communication Programme , the vote and recognition of the product and environmental technology of Vietnam - Korea, and the analysis of the difficulties and advantages, the two parties have agreed to take action and implementation right from this year.


Recognising this program, were activities to honour and promote the environment-friendly  products and technology,  enhance the brand for enterprises and contribute to trade promotion and  technology transfer. Thus, the enterprises  of the two countries have expressed consensus.


With the witness of VACNE and HEF leaders, and the presidents of the companies : SM Water Tech Co., Ltd; Dream Bios Co., Ltd. and Garam Environmental Technology Inc.,  Korea signed a memorandum of understanding and cooperation of technology transfer with the Director of the Institute of Water Environment Engineering & Technology (IWEET); Deputy President of the construction company Tech Vietnam (VITC); Director of  Sinh Phu Company.


During their stay in Vietnam, the HEF businesses also visited a number of VACNE  units in Hanoi to determine cooperation and linking opportunities for the  transfer of technology and environmental protection equipment.
