From 1st to 9th February 2024 (i.e. from 22nd day to 30th day of the 12th month of lunar calendar), the units implemente a free promotion programme from Hoan Kiem Lake to the Imperial Citadel of Thang Long, with 10 vehicles operating continuously throughout the day.

The Thang Long - Ha Noi Heritage Conservation Center will organise the Vietnamese New Year display programme to welcome the Year of the Dragon 2024 with many activities recreating unique traditional rituals lasting from 2nd February (23rd day of the 12th month of lunar calendar) to 18th February (9th day of Lunar New Year) with the meaning "Let go of the old, welcome the new". The Royal Tet exhibition space will introduce to people and tourists the Lunar New Year celebration of the Le Trung Hung period. According to ancient tradition, the New Year's Eve ceremony was held in the early morning of the first day with a solemn royal ceremony, taking place at Kinh Thien palace yard.
This year, for the first time, the Thang Long - Ha Noi Heritage Conservation Center presents the 3D movie "Feast of the Le Dynasty". The movie will bring visitors a 360-degree experience, recreating the solemn and unique atmosphere of the New Year's Eve ceremony at the ancient royal palace with rituals such as: Procession Bieu (the essay to the king) to the courtyard of Kinh Thien Palace; Carrying the king's palanquin to Kinh Thien Palace; declaration ceremony…
Notably, for the first time, the Imperial Citadel of Thang Long will kick off and put into use the automatic guide system (auto guide) from 5th February, equipped with headphones for visitors to explain throughout the tour.
