An Giang: 15 tonnes of fish released to protect biodiversity

About 15 tonnes of breeding fish of different varieties, including 193,000 individuals of rare indigenous fish, were released to nature in Vam Nao River crossing Binh Thuy commune, Chau Phu district, the Mekong Delta province of An Giang on August 10.

Nearly 2,000 turtle eggs brought from Con Dao Island have been successfully hatched in Cu Lao Cham Island in the programme to restore and conserve sea turtles in the Quang Nam Province's island.

More than 800 volunteers joined a campaign to clean Kim Lien beach in the central city of Da Nang on August 7, which was jointly held World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) Vietnam, Prudential Vietnam and the municipal Department of Natural Resources and Environment.
