Environmental Cycling Club meets to discuss activities towards the 8th Congress of Vietnam Association for Conservation of Nature and Environment (VACNE)

(VACNE) - On May 12, 2023, in Ha Dong district (Hanoi), a large number of members and leaders of the Environmental Cycling Club had a meeting to consolidate the organization and unify the action plan, towards the next VIII Congress of VACNE.

 
 

 
 

This is the first meeting of the Club, after many years of interruption caused by the COVID-19 epidemic, most of the old members were excited and enthusiastically participated, expressing their hope to prolong their life to live a useful life for the family and society. Some Members could not attend the meeting (due to health reasons) but still registered to participate in the upcoming Exchange Meeting with the Hai Phong Heritage Tree Connection Club.


In the presence of representatives of the leadership and VACNE Office, the members of the Club met and agreed to let Mr. Nguyen Van Binh to be rested (for health reasons) and elect Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Nguyet as Club President; and at the same time elected Mr. Nguyen Thanh Bang to the board of directors, along with Ms. Vu Thi Thoai, holding the position of Vice President of the Club. Also at this meeting, the old members and leaders of the club discussed many specific contents for the implementation of activities from now to the end of the year, especially activities during the 8th Congress of VACNE.
