Two more regional typical tourism sites in Mekong Delta recognized

At a conference to to review first-half regional tourism development and launching tasks for the remaining months of this year in Tra Vinh province, the Mekong Delta Tourism Association granted a decision to recognize Ba Om Pond scenic spot and Huynh Kha eco-tourism site in the locality as regional typical tourism areas.

The 1,100km Truong Son mountain range stretches across 21 provinces in Vietnam, including Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Ha Tinh, Quang Binh, Quang Tri, and Thua Thien Hue, as well as parts of Laos and Cambodia. Yellow strawberry gardens in Nguyen Phich commune, Ca Mau province, adjacent to U Minh Ha Forest and along the Cai Tau River, have existed for hundreds of years. The Cai Tau strawberry garden has become a tourist attraction.
