Improving Highland Forests

The project titled Restoring and managing sustainable forests in Bac Giang, Quang Ninh and Lang Son provinces, co-sponsored by the German Government, is undergoing its final stage. Its objective for the end of 2009 is to establish 8,590ha of forests (planting new forest trees and taking care of existing forest trees on a total area of 7,090ha, and managing 1,500ha of community forests).
