According to a leader of Thua Thien Hue Construction and Water Supply State One Member Company Limited, the unit in charge of implementing the project, the safe water system project for Phu Loc Town and its 5 adjacent communes includes 2 independent waterworks, namely Loc Tri waterworks with design capacity of 2,000m3/day-night, supplying Phu Loc Town and Loc Tri Commune with water and Loc An waterworks with design capacity of 8,000m3/day-night, supplying Communes of Loc Hoa, Loc Dien, Loc An, and Loc Son with water.
Once the project is accomplished, it will meet needs of using safe water of people living in Phu Loc Town and its 5 adjacent communes. It is expected that the project will supply 62,911 people with water until 2020 and develop a water supply system for 11 coastal lagoons communes of Phu Loc and Phu Vang Districts.
