This is a meeting in the form of face-to-face in Hanoi and online connection with many localities throughout the country, in order to best prepare for the Congress and the 35th Anniversary of VACNE. So this meeting was attended by many delegates, even though the weather was very hot. Typically, the presidents of local Associations for Conservation of Nature and Environment: Cao Bang, Dak Lak, Quang Ngai, cities: Ho Chi Minh, Can Tho, Hai Phong... have returned to Hanoi to directly attend the meeting.

After watching the short film "Proud of 35 years of VACNE" and listening to the Association's President present about the preparation, organization plan and summary of the Draft Report at the Congress; at the same time witnessed the admission ceremony of 3 new member units… the delegates discussed and came to an agreement with the contents stated in the Report.

The preparation for the Congress still closely follows the content presented to the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations and reported to the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment in recent months. The 8th Congress (term of 2023-2028) Vietnam Association for Conservation of Nature and Environment will take place at the end of November 2023, in Hanoi, with about 200 participants.

Regarding the organizational structure of the Vietnam Association for Conservation of Natural Resources and Environment, there are still 5 committees (Inspection; Consulting for social criticism; Communication; Sustainable communities and resources, 3 Councils (Emulation and commendation, Science, Heritage Tree) and 2 offices in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City today.
