8 Groups of Waste Products to be collected and treated

Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment has drafted, consulted and prepared for the Prime Minister to promulgate regulations on the collection and treatment of certain products that have been discarded or expired their duration of use.
Specifically, the following eight product groups on the list must be collected and treated after disposal or expiration of use: 1-all types of batteries; 2-any type of battery cell; 3-compact fluorescent bulbs and flourescent tubes or lamps; 4-computers (desktop and laptops); 5-printers, fax machines, scanners; 6-photocopiers; 7-mobile phones; 8-televisions, DVDs, VCDs. CDs. and other types of disc readers.
According to the draft of these regulations, beginning on 1-1-2012 all production facilities and importers of products from the eight groups mentioned above shall declare the amount of products that enter the market and have direct responsibility for the collection and treatment of the products that have been disposed or expired or to issue credentials to other organizations and individuals who have the ability to do so.
Based on the environmental protection requirements given periodically, the Ministry of Natural Resources-Environment will provide the Government with an amendment to the list of the products and adjust the ratio/number of disposed or expired products concerning import and export facilities to collect and properly treat. Manufacturing establishments and importing facilities that do not follow these regulations at a sufficient ratio will be required to pay the cost of collecting and processing products at current market prices.
