Vice State President congratulated event honoring Vietnam Heritage Trees

(VACNE) – On 19/5/2013 Vice State President Nguyen Thi Doan sent congratulations bouquet to Duy Minh commune, Duy Tien district, Ha Nam province, on the event two ancient Bodhi trees in village Chuông has been recognized as Vietnam Heritage Tree.

These are two 700 -year-old Bodhi trees, classified as most beautiful and large Vietnam  heritage trees and, are also the first trees of Ha Nam Province, were recognized by VACNE as  Vietnam Heritage Trees .
 
In her opening speech, Ms. Duong Thi Hoai, President of   Duy Minh  commune People's Committee confirmed two Bodhi Trees are an indispensable part of the Chuông village, Duy Minh  commune, Duy Tien district, Ha Nam provinceOvercoming time, the trees still stands proudly, shady sheltered for the villagersThus, the event that two  ancient Bodhi trees were recognized as Vietnam Heritage Trees is the honor of the local populationIt reminds the community to live united, proud of  homeland  tradition, at  the same time reminding the local functional units frequently urge the implementation of environmental protection, protection of  culture, history  monuments,..

In his speech, Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Sinh, President of VACNE  highly values ​​of 2 Bodhi trees on the  village Temple  and said,  these are  the  most beautiful and large Bodhi trees of Vietnam. They deserves to be in the ranks of the valuable trees in our country, such as multicast tree of thousand years old, ranked No. 1 in the world, is in Bac Giang province, that will be  honored as Vietnam Heritage Trees in the next month.
