(VACNE) - On 18/12/2012, thousands of officers and soldiers and ethnic minorities in Yen Lap district, with numerous leaders in Phu Tho Province, Yen Lap district; senior Revolutionary cadres formermember of the Party Central Committee, President, provincial Secretary ... attended the ceremony to recognize Vietnam Heritage Tree for the cluster tree (original 12 trees over 300 years old) in Xuan An commune, .

This is one of the first trees of Yen Lap district was recognized as Vietnam Heritage Tree; is one of the highlights of the locality during the Festival of Culture, Sports and Tourism of the district.

Mr. Nguyen Dinh Cuc, Vice President of the provincial People's Committee, on behalf of the provincial Party Committee, People's Committee and the provincial Fatherland Front of Phu Tho province donated flowers to congratulate; speech appreciated the efforts of the staff and the people of Yen Lap district and Xuan An commune in keeping, conservation and promotion of the cultural heritage of ethnic groups, including the Vietnam heritage trees. Because this is the spiritual foundation of society, the objectives and motivation of the socio-economic development.

After Dr. Bui Phuc Khanh, President of the Association for Conservation of Nature and Environment of Phu Tho province on behalf of the organizing committee, read the decision to recognize Vietnam Heritage Tree, Prof. Dr. Dang Huy Huynh, chairman of the Vietnam Heritage Trees Council and TS. Nguyen Ngoc Sinh, President of Vietnam Association for Conservation of Nature and Environment (VACNE) awarded Certificate of recognition of Heritage Trees to the President of Yen Lap district and Xuan An commune. Soon after, the leaders of VACNE and localities open stone recognized Vietnam Heritage Tree, with the presence of numerous officials, local people and the media.
