Some pictures of the recognition ceremony of 9 Christmas trees at Huong Tra Ecological Village (Quang Nam) as Vietnamese Heritage Trees

(VACNE) – On 05/04/2024, the government and people of Tam Ky city solemnly organize a ceremony to announce the decision and receive the certificate of recognition of the Vietnamese Heritage Tree with 9 impressed Christmas trees (yellow flower trees as the local people call them) at Huong Tra Ecological Village, Tam Ky city, Quang Nam province.

These are the first impressive Christmas trees to be recognized as Vietnamese Heritage Trees. This activity is also the beginning of the series of activities of the Festival "Tam Ky - Sua Flower Season" in 2024 organized by the People's Committee of Tam Ky city.

GS. TSKH. ASEAN Biodiversity Hero Dang Huy Huynh, Vice President of Vietnam Association for Conservation of Nature and Environment, Chairman of Vietnam Heritage Tree Council attended and directly handed over the Decision and Certificate of recognition of Vietnam Heritage Tree to local representatives.
