45 more ancient trees qualified for recognition as Vietnamese Heritage Trees

(VACNE) - This is the number of trees, out of a total of 93 dossiers, sent from 6 provinces and cities, which have just been recognized by the Vietnam Heritage Tree Council as meeting the criteria for Vietnam Heritage Trees.

(VACNE) - The logo design contest "Day for Agent Orange Victims (10-8)" was organized to attract the attention and sharing of the social community about the pain of Agent Orange/dioxin victims and also to awaken the conscience of humanity to join hands in the struggle for justice for the victims. The selected logo is a symbol to be used and remembered for a long time, which will be used in the media and propaganda in the annual celebration of the Day for the Victims of Agent Orange (10/8) and in activities related to the victims of Agent Orange.

Vietnam Environmental Incident Response Center provides training to improve the capacity to handle oil spills for Border Guard officers and soldiers of Quang Nam province

(VACNE) - After many incidents of ships increasing the risk of oil spills around the buffer zone of the Cu Lao Cham World Biosphere Reserve, on August 21, 2024, the Vietnam Environmental Emergency Response Center – Central Branch coordinated with the Border Guard Command of Quang Nam province to organize a training session – practice in responding to oil spills for officials, soldiers of the Border Guard Command of Quang Nam province.

(VACNE) - On August 22, 2024, in Thach Hoa commune, Tuyen Hoa district, Quang Binh province, a ceremony was held to announce the Decision and award the Certificate of Recognition of Vietnamese Heritage Tree to Bombax ceiba located in Thiet Son village 3 of the White-necked Langur Species and Habitat Reserve.
