VACNE's Book: Environment and Development in the Context of Climate Change

(VACNE) - The VACNE website continues to introduce to readers the Association's publication: 'Environment and Development in the Context of Climate Change (CC),' published by the National Political Publishing House – Truth in 2019.
The book "Environment and Development in the Context of Climate Change (CC)" by 30 authors, edited by Professor-Doctor of Science Pham Ngoc Dang, has a foreword written by Deputy Prime Minister Trinh Dinh Dung.
The book is nearly 500 pages long, printed on 16 x 24 cm paper, and consists of 10 chapters:
Chapter 1: The Environmental Status of Vietnam;
Chapter 2: Environmental Challenges in Vietnam and Solutions;
Chapter 3: Climate Change and Sustainable Development in Vietnam;
Chapter 4: Proactive Response to Climate Change;
Chapter 5: Improving the Green Economy Framework;
Chapter 6: Greening Key Economic Sectors of Vietnam;
Chapter 7: Sustainable Development in Vietnam from the Perspective of Resources and Environment;
Chapter 8: Sustainable Development in Our Coastal Areas from the Perspective of Resources and Environment;
Chapter 9: The Role of Local Communities in Environmental Protection, Nature Conservation, and Climate Change Response;
Chapter 10: The Role of the Fatherland Front and Mass Organizations in Environmental Protection, Nature Conservation, and Climate Change Response.
The book is a useful resource, helping readers gain an overall perspective on the current situation, challenges, and strategies for addressing issues related to environmental protection, green economic development, climate change adaptation, and achieving rapid and sustainable development goals in Vietnam in the context of increasingly deep international integration.
