Representatives of Vietnam Association for Conservation of Nature and Environment (VACNE), as a program partner receiving help of some US students in upgrading its English webpage during past 3 months, were also presented at the ceremony.
The cooperational program between University of California (UC) and Hanoi University (HU) has been being successively implemented for 5 years. At the appreciation ceremony, an UC representative presented achievements of US students in learning and research. Both universities have awarded Certificate of Appreciation to their staff members who effectively worked for cooperation between the two universities.
As for VACNE, it highly appreciates volunteer work of US student in helping VACNE to upgrade its website quality. During 3 months, 3 US students helped VACNE in editing around 50 articles in English and in seeking tens of articles in foreign and Vietnamese websites to enrich the English webpage of VACNE's website. Thanks to this effective cooperation, a quality of VACNE's English webpage has been visibly improved in terms of number of articles and timeliness. Daily access to the English webpage has increased from 200 views per day to 300, sometimes 400 views per day.
