Thousand-year-old "Cho" tree (Terminalia myriocarpa)

Since the virgin forest of “Cuc Phuong” was discovered, ten thousand tourists from all over the world have traveled there to contemplate the thousand-year-old wonder of nature; the "Cho" tree (Terminalia myriocarpa).

This tree is 45 m high, and has a 5m-trunk diameter. With such a large perimeter, it takes more than 20 people holding hands to encircle the tree in an embrace.
For tourists to reach the tree, it takes about two to three hours of walking in the forest. While walking in the virgin forest, tourists can enjoy total quiet, and can see many precious and rare plants, as well as enjoy wonderful natural scenery before finally reaching the thousand-year-old Cho tree.
