Vietnam Association for Conservation of Nature and Environment

(VACNE) - It is a more than 200-year-old Thien Tue tree at Phu Nhuan Communal House, Phu Nhuan Commune, Ben Tre City, which was solemnly organized by the People's Committee of Ben Tre City to receive the Certificate of Recognition of Vietnam Heritage Tree on January 10, 2025.

This is a very meaningful event because it takes place on the occasion of the 125th anniversary of the establishment of Ben Tre province, the 65th anniversary of Ben Tre Dong Khoi. Dr. Nguyen Cong Thuan, Member of the Executive Committee of the VACNE; Dr. Pham Van Luan, Ho Chi Minh City University of Culture, Heritage Tree Expert; Mr. Nguyen Van Tuan, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Ben Tre City Party Committee; Ms. Nguyen Thi Yen Nhi, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Deputy Head of the delegation, Delegation of the National Assembly of Ben Tre province, representatives of leaders of departments, branches, mass organizations of Ben Tre province and city and more than 200 representatives of people from communes, wards and communes of Phu Nhuan.

A special point that attracted the attention of a large number of delegates to the ceremony was that in the music section to celebrate the first time the Vietnamese Heritage Tree has entered poetry and music, becoming the inspiration for a unique ancient song by composer Vo Thanh Hao, former Secretary of the Ben Tre Provincial Party Committee which was performed smoothly. touching the hearts of people about the land and the people of Ben Tre with the "witness" being the Thien Tue Heritage Tree.
