Recognition Ceremony of 700-year-old Cây Sấu tree in Cao Bang province as a Vietnamese Heritage Tree

(VACE) - Recently, the Association for Conservation of Nature and Environment of Cao Bang province in collaboration with the People's Committee of Ha Lang district organized a ceremony to recognize the 700-year-old Cây Sấu tree as a Vietnamese Heritage Tree.


This ancient old Cây Sấu tree (Dracontomelum duperreanum Pierre) grows on the mountainside, in The Village of Thòong Village, Ly Quoc Commune, Ha Lang District, Cao Bang Province.


Attending the recognition ceremony of crocodiles as Vietnamese Heritage Trees were Dr. Tran Van Mieu – Vice President of VACNE, Associate Professor, Dr. Tran Ngoc Hai – Vice Chairman of Vietnam Heritage Tree Council; Mr. Hoang Van Hai - Deputy Secretary of Ha Lang District Committee, Mr. Shen Van Khiem - Vice Chairman of Ha Lang District People's Committee.

Attending, there were also a large number of people from the villages of Thòong village, Ly Quoc commune, Ha Lang district, Cao Bang province.
