North-Western Terraced Fields in the Planting Season

Each year, there are two seasons for wonderful sightseeing of terraced fields in the north-western mountainous areas, which are planting and yellow harvesting rice seasons.
In late May, everywhere throughout the northwestern mountainous areas, people from ethnic minorities planting rice in terraced fields in the planting season has become a familiar image. The planting season is one of the beautiful ones of famous tourist areas such as Mu Cang Chai, Sa Pa, La Pan Tan and Y Ty.
Terraced rice fields have become one of the unique tourism products of the north-western mountainous areas and attracted many visitors, especially foreigners to come.
Many European visitors were very interested in exploring not only the unique beauty of terraced fields but also learning about know-how and technique for wet rice cultivation in terraced fields of the local people.
