Ninh Binh joyfully organized a ceremony to receive the Certificate recognizing the Heritage Tree of Vietnam on the occasion of the Vietnam Great National Unity Festival.

(VACNE) - On the occasion of the Great Unity Festival of all Vietnamese ethnic groups, on November 16, 2025, the community of Tien Son Ward, Ninh Binh Province, solemnly held a ceremony to receive the Certificate of Recognition for Four Ancient Trees as Vietnam Heritage Trees.

Attending to pay tribute at the historical sites and share in the local community's joy over this event were leaders and representatives of the Vietnam Association for the Protection of Nature and Environment, along with representatives from the People's Committee of Tiên Sơn Ward, Ninh Bình Province.

In the Opening Speech by Ms. Nguyễn Thị Dung, Head of the Fatherland Front Committee and Secretary of the Dưỡng Thọ Neighborhood Party Cell, the guidance speech by Mr. Phạm Văn Thập, representative of the Tiên Sơn Ward People's Committee in Ninh Bình province, and the off-the-cuff remarks by the head of the Đá Tiên Phong communal relic management board, all emphasized: Preserving ancient trees is also a way to advise and teach younger generations to protect the heritage left by their ancestors, to do many good deeds, and to contribute to the development of the homeland. This is because ancient trees are witnesses to the local history over the past decades.

After presenting the Certificate and the Decision to Recognize the Vietnamese Heritage Tree to the local leaders, the representative of the Vietnam Association for Nature Conservation and Environment thanked the people for preserving these precious old trees. The activity of conserving Vietnamese Heritage Trees not only shows gratitude to past generations but is also part of Vietnamese culture: valuing the past, protecting the environment, safeguarding health, and conserving biodiversity.
