 “With nearly 700 pages, the book Green Economy for Sustainable Development in the Context of Climate Change by the Vietnam Association for Nature and Environment Protection delivers a relatively systematic presentation of the theoretical and practical issues of green economic development that the public is concerned about. In terms of theory, the book discusses several theoretical issues about the green economy from various approaches, offering insights on the policies and directions for green economic development in Vietnam.

In the first part of the book, the authors analyze the theoretical basis for greening industrial production, agriculture, consumption, as well as urban and rural lifestyles. Among them, the most challenging issue is mobilizing resources, primarily financial resources, for green economic development, which has also been addressed. The authors have boldly presented their views systematically and quite comprehensively on the theoretical issues of green economic development in Vietnam.

The second part of the book reviews practical models of several countries and leading international organizations in green economic development, particularly those of Vietnam”.
