(VACNE) - On the morning of 06/18/2014, at the VACNE offices the President of VACNE had worked with 4 Korean experts led by Dr. Prof. Sang-Jin Kim, Korea Institute of Ocean Science and Technology, (KIOST).
KIOST and BJC company, specializing in the production of biological products are particularily interested in matters of handling land contaminated by various sources.
The two sides exchanged information related to soil quality, integrated approach to land reclamation serving community livelihood.
The Korean colleagues are very interested in the experience of the Vietnam scientists in combining chemical methods, physical, microbiological soil improvement with other commonly used methods, in accordance with the circumstances of each region or each type of terrain.
In the near future, and KIOST VACNE will discuss and implement projects applying scientific experiments possible in order to improve soil contamination in some specific area.
