On July, 13, a departure ceremony for Trans-Vietnam Cycling Program for Environment 2011 themed “Youth voices: Let’s protect forests” will take place in Hanoi. The program will be held by Vietnam Association for Conservation of Nature and Environment (VACNE) in collaboration with Actions for Environment Organization (AFEO) and Cycling for Environment (C4E).
Earlier on July 10, Trans-Vietnam Cycling Group for Environment departed from Ho Chi Minh City. It is expected that on July 27, two groups in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City will gather in Hue City, where a lot of communication activities for environmental protection will take place.
As a rendezvous, annually in summer, C4E’s volunteers are very eager to welcome Trans-Vietnam Cycling Program. Not only members of the club but also many students nationwide also show interest and wish to join this meaningful program. This is the fourth year Trans-Vietnam Cycling Program has been organized.
