(VACNE) - This is the opinion of Prof. Dr. Dang Vu Minh, President the Viet Nam Union of Science and Technology Associations (VUSTA) along most of the participants of scientific Conference "The results of analysis and test residual method of decontamination dioxin in the soil at the airport Sho A Luoi district " by the VACNE and the Korean partners held in Hanoi on 29/09/2016.

At the seminar, the Korea side with clue of Biology Company BJC and its partners (The Korea Institute of Ocean Science and the Technology (KIOST), Korea Institute of Toxicology (KIT), the Corporation Agriculture, fisheries Korea (KRC)) has presented the report on the results of the analysis of residual Dioxin in soil at the airport A Sho (A Luoi) and the test results processing method in the laboratory by microbiology means of Korean.
Conference delegates also heard many reports of scientists and the critical opinions of the functional units and the social organizations of Vietnam. Among them, opinions directed by Prof. Dr. Dang Vu Minh, President the VUSTA with the consensus opinion of the Lieutenant-General, Dr. Nguyen The Luc, Vice President and Secretary General of the Association of Victims of Agent orange / dioxin in Vietnam (VAVA) and representative of the Commission of Science, Technology and Environment of National Assembly, representative the Ministry of Defense ... The reviews have said: this is a very practical activities in the process of expanding co international cooperation and contribute to environmental remediation and the reduce difficulties for people.
Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Sinh, the VACNE Préident said, that dioxin decontamination methods in microbiology, which the Korean partners have successfully tested and the is presented at the workshop are appropriate, can take place at A Luoi (Thua Thien - Hue).
At the seminar, representatives of the Korean partners expressed the desire to contribute on the method, on the materials, equipment and the most of the funding for this project; and Vietnam requested the support and the ensure maximum favorable conditions for the deployment process, especially the legal procedures and mobilize human resources in the field, send experts to direct supervision of acceptance process of dioxin decontamination experiments, first at the airport A Sho.
