Bulbophyllum nigrescens: Found in Thailand, Yunnan Province China and Vietnam in sparse woods growing on tree trunks at elevations around 400 to 1,500 meters of a miniature size, warm to cool-growing lithophytes or epiphytes with squat, globular, flattened ventrally, rugose pseudobulbs carrying a single, apical and linear to lanceolate leaf that blooms in the late winter and early spring on an erect, basal (15 to 50cm long) many-flowered inflorescence.

Bulbophyllum lemniscatoides:This species is native to Java, Sumatra, Thailand and Vietnam. It is found on mountain sides at about 1500m above sea level. The pseudobulbs are 2 cm tall and the two leaves about 10cm long. This species is deciduous or semi deciduous when flowering. The raceme is 4-5cm long and carries 20-30 flowers, each 2-3mm wide. The mobile appendages are 5-6mm long.
