Purpose:
- Contribute to raising awareness on conservation and developing biological diversity, particularly for rare species in Vietnam
- Serving ceremony held on the 5-year Event Conservating Vietnam Heritage Trees by VACNE
Contest rules:
1. Participants: All Vietnam citizens interested to Events of Conservating Vietnam Heritage Trees, and voluntarily participate in the contest.
- Each author can submit entries 01 (one) or many works.
2 Formats of articles
- Submissions can be written as: Pieces of stories, prose, poetry, memoir.
- These works have been Writing on this subject, from the date 1/1/2012 until now, after revision, can participate in the contest.
- Authors are responsible for the copyright, accuracy and honesty of information entries.
- Article typed on a sheet of paper, with no more than 1,000 words in length.
3 Content of articles
- Write about one (or a cluster) tree unique value locally, especially the tree has been recognized as Vietnam Heritage Trees.
- Reflecting the typical (or solution or) tree care
- Introduction of advanced models in the conservation and exploitation of the value of Vietnam Heritage Tree, serve socio-economic development locally.
4 Award structure
- 01 First Prize: 5 million VND
- 02 Second Prize: 3 million VND per award
- 05 Third Prize: 1 million VND per award
- 10 Consolation Prize: VND 500,000 per award
5.Time organization
- Launching in mid January 8/2014
- Time to start receiving entries: 25/08/2014
- Ends on 11/25/2014 receiving all (according to the postmark date of dispatch)
- Awarded on May 3/2015 (5-year Review Conference Events Vietnam Heritage Trees).
