(VACNE) – It is 9 Comb Celestial Trees (Cycas pectinata Buch. - Ham.) at Six Senses Ninh Van Bay Resort, Ba Du Mountain, solemnly organized by the business community and authorities of Ninh Van commune, Ninh Hoa town, Khanh Hoa province to celebrate the Certificate of Recognition of Vietnamese Heritage Trees on July 27, 2023.
Journalist Phung Quang Chinh, Vice Chairman of Vietnam Heritage Tree Council presented the Certificate of Heritage Tree Recognition to representatives of Six Senses Ninh Van Bay Resort
Attend and celebrate with businesses and local communities there were Associate Professor. Dr. Outstanding Teacher Tran Ngoc Hai, with leaders of Vietnam Association for Conservation of Nature and Environment; Leaders, People's Committee of Ninh Van commune, Ninh Hoa town ranger district and Vinh Luong border guard station, GreenViet and a large number of domestic and international tourists.
Mr. Benjamin Kreuz, General Manager and Ms. Emy, Sustainability Director of Six Senses Ninh Van Bay Resort are very excited, expressed their delight about this event, and hope that the Heritage Trees will contribute to the attraction of tourism. Because the main motivation for Six Senses to develop so far has been biodiversity conservation and environmental friendliness.
The leaders of the Vinh Luong border guard station expressed their emotion because this event was held on the Day of Invalids - Martyrs, right in the sea where the vestiges of the numberless ships that made the victory of our troops and people in the period of anti-American salvation.
Speaking at this event, representatives of the Vietnam Association for Conservation of Nature and Environment expressed their gratitude to the ancestors and martyrs who have protected this land and precious heritage for today.
