(VACNE) - During my time in Vietnam, I have had the opportunity to visit the city of Hanoi , along with two other regions found in nature : Mai Chau and Halong Bay.

These two places portray the beautiful natural sceneries that can be found in Vietnam. On the one hand, Mai Chau is found in the highlands, covered with rice fields , while in Halong Bay, thousands of lime-stone hills can be observed in the ocean.
Both scenes are unique to experience and are memorable. They offer quite a contrast to the busy cities of Vietnam. Indeed, Mai Chau and Halong Bay are secluded from the prominent activities in Vietnam’s cities. Halong bay is accessed by a ferry and a boat from the main land and is a very peaceful and beautiful bay to cruise around in . It also has several island beaches where you can stay the night with no one else but the people on your tour, the staff living on the island and a few lizards and other local animals.
Mai Chau is a green beauty, a rural area located south west of Hanoi and not far off from the Laotian border. People there live simply, they grow their crops and herd their animals, all of which they can consume for their daily meals. Many rice fields can be found there , and you can get an unforgettable glimpse of Vietnamese locals working on their crops.
