The outline and plan for the workshop have basically been completed, with over 30 reports and papers received and edited for publication in the workshop proceedings.

Advisory and review activities continue to be one of the key and prominent tasks of the Association in 2026. The Executive Committee and invited members have contributed many scientific and practical insights to plans, projects, tasks, scientific and technological topics, and draft resolutions of the Provincial People's Council related to areas such as environmental protection, biodiversity conservation, climate change response, and guidance for green and sustainable development in Dong Nai province.

Through these activities, the Association has gradually affirmed its role as a social-professional organisation working alongside the authorities in the process of planning and adjusting policies, plans, and projects related to the environment and sustainable development; contributing to improving the quality of state management decisions and reducing environmental risks. Overall: The Dong Nai City Environmental Protection and Nature Conservation Association still faces many challenges, but its advisory and critical roles are recognised and highly valued by state management agencies. The work of information, communication, education, and raising community awareness is also given attention, with many members mobilised to take part.
